Thank you for the kindhearted words yesterday, everyone. I am lucky and grateful to know you. Your words helped.
As did this quote from Robin Wall Kimmerer (Braiding Sweetgrass) that came to me via L:
"Even a wounded world is feeding us. Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy. I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift."
Pic: This winsome chipmunk who lives inside my broken Buddha also brought me cheer yesterday.

Oh wow, I love that quote! Thank you for sharing it!
Take care.
That's a beautiful quote. And Mr. Chips has a good home. I'm glad today is a better day -- and so far, sunshine!
Oooh... I love this.
That is a beautiful quote about choosing joy! Thank you for sharing!
A chipmunk that lives in your Buddha was the little shot of joy I needed today. Thank you
Thank you for that quote. Sometimes we have to actively look for and choose Joy for ourselves. Escaping to Nature is often how we must do it.
Love the whole idea of a chipmunk making your Buddha its home. It's perfect.
I love the quote as well. Sometimes nature is such a balm.
Thank you for celebrating Mr. Chips (Love the name, Jeanie!) and the quote with me, friends!
Nice.
So cute. We don't have chipmunks here.
