United Way doesn't work on Sunday. Okay.
We ended the day with dinner at a restaurant and sharing reflections and expectations for the upcoming week.
I really do hope that they work us hard tomorrow... I need to be so tired I can forget.
Writing responses to the comments from yesterday, I realized I'm the one likely to be a nuisance to other people's sleep schedules. The camp cot, noise, etc. don't faze me as when I'm tired enough and need to sleep, nothing can stop me, thankfully. It is the bathroom sharing that I'm such a princess about. But I'm handling it.
Speaking of princesses, Huckleberry Pup's lab results came back and it's just a UTI! (Yay?) Big A has been having a tough time getting her to take her meds though.
Pic: I adore this pic of food democracy in action as the students carefully consider each purchase picked for the communal grocery cart.

Good news about Huck! What are the bathrooms like? Communal or individual?
I'm glad to hear about Huck. Hope she starts to cooperate with the meds or that A gets sneakier.
So glad you get a beach day. I have a feeling you will "work off the relaxation" this week. And smiles about Huck. Not sure what kind of med Huck has but for Lizzie I crush the pill and put it in some Churo (which is a cat treat, but I would guess fine for dogs. Or a pill pocket might work too. Pilling an animal is never fun!
I'm glad the news about Huck is something common and treatable. Medicating pets is no fun, but I think dogs must be easier than cats. Zydrunas gets his daily pill in a pill pocket, and he just gulps stuff anyway.
Love the term Food Democracy. I need more of that here! (I MISS GARLIC SO SO BAD)
What a relief that Huck just has a UTI. Getting pets to take meds can be so hard! I'm kind of glad that you don't need to do that this week and Big A can handle that chore.
