I liked this picture I took of the Chateau of Versailles best...
but I realized I didn't have any pictures of myself on this trip
so I took a picture in the Hall of Mirrors
where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919
(plus that would sit better with my commie family, anyway)

Fun photo.
Versailles is certainly a paean to excess. And vanity. And luxury. But it's gorgeous to look at. Not bad for a little hunting lodge, right?
