I think I'm sick.
Of course, the correct response to that (on our family chat anyway) would be "Boo, you 'ho" (without the hard "r").
It could be the pollen merrily floating around. I've dosed myself liberally with Lemsip and am currently loopier than ever.
Pic: Our picnic at Hyde Park today. People declaiming from set Hyde Park pieces (Orwell, Shaw, Marx, C.L.R. James, William Morris) or topics they're passionate about (The Globe's R&J, Bram Stoker's Dracula, guns in general.)

It is early in the morning but I don't get it, where is the hard r in boo, you ho? I hope you feel better! It sucks to get sick while travelling!
Ha ha, I get it! But I hope you're not sick!!! Hopefully it's the pollen. Take care of yourself- traveling is hard.
I always get sick when I travel. I think it's the change in food? Or maybe it is the change in flora? I hope it's a blip and you aren't SICK SICK.
No wonder you want to get home. Sounds miserable, Maya. Probably all the worse in the park!
Take care.
NO, DO NOT BE SICK!
Fingers crossed it's all the pollen. Our patio is covered in green dust when it's windy. Hang in there. xxoo
I hope you're feeling better now, Maya. Although, I had no idea that the correct response on your family chat would be "Boo, you 'ho".
Oh, my darling!
As in "whore." Which is what Regina George says, but that's a bit too much for us. :D
It was bad, and I thought I was dying/wanted to die, but am much improved today, Jenny!
I think I'm recovering, Engie. And I guess I was long overdue--I haven't had a cold in years at this point!
Thanks, Jeanie--yesterday was truly miserable and brutal, but feeling better today.
Thank you!
I read this aloud, Nance... and very loudly and I think my body paid attention. Much improved today, thank you!
Thank you, Yukun.
(That's a line from the movie _Mean Girls_ and is only meant as a joke!)
I'm glad to hear from the comments you are feeling better. Being sick while traveling is no fun.
Seriously, Steph... I was already craving my bed :)
