Big A is channeling toddler At playing hide and seek by "hiding" behind a tree. (We still tease At about how they "hid" behind a pole, shutting eyes, and imagining no one would be able to see them.)
How they grow... At was on the radio today...
We picked this spot for Scout's memorial because of the way he'd always come bounding up to greet me around that bend. And while I d...

Rex also loves the snow and we don't have any! He will be so happy when it happens. There's none in the forecast at all, but maybe it will be a Christmas snowfall?
You got more than we did. My boys would love a big snowfall. We got a small amount early in the week and then it’s been bitterly cold. It will warm up today, though. I am not ready for sub-zero windchills!!!
My big orange cat Piper insists on scooting out the front door when I go out to feed the blue jays. He loves the snow!
At is doing big things. You must be so proud.
We have only had a dusting so far. I can't wait for Hannah to have fun frolicking in the snow. I just hope it happens on a weekend so I don't have to drive in it.
I listened to the story. Go, At! How fun to hear their voice.
We have only had flurries here and a dusting in Wheeling (and there only in certain parts of town-- our hotel had snow on the ground in front and Beth's mom's house did not).
Oh I love the snow! We also had a snow day this week and it was fine, but I found myself kind of missing the days when my kid insisted on spending hours making snow balls and sliding down the mound of snow left by the plows and making angels in untouched snow fields.
Nicole, My first thought was you're in Canada! Snow is bound to happen! Rex will be so delighted when it does... I remember his delight from last year...
Thanks!
It's not expected to last for us either... Thirty years ago, MI would have snow all through Winter, apparently...
I enjoyed that flash of color and movement from Piper... I don't know many cats, and love knowing that Piper likes snow too.
We are very proud of At, Nance. I'm going to add some articles from 2022 to today's post!
Haha, Engie. Yes, weekend snow is ideal.
Thanks for listening, Steph!
Our snow has been patchy too--I wonder if that's some strange effect of climate change too...
Suz, You need a puppy who delights in snow to bring back snowy-day magic!
