Yayoi Kusama, Wendell Berry, Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and Gloria Steinem... So many amazing elders are going.

I get a pang every time someone in their 80th year (like Dolly, Diane Keaton) leaves--that's too much like my mama.

I wonder why it can't be someone who won't be missed, someone whose absence could be celebrated.

I remember my Amma playing Free to Be You and Me (A record that Steinem produced) for us when we were kids...
