red.blue.white.

The Detroit Pistons hats we got for Christmas were blue and red, so I assumed the team wearing blue and red were the team to root for. But apparently the home team wears light colors and they were the team in white.

So naturally I switched my allegiance. We won handily.

Pic: From our nosebleed seats in Little Caesar's Arena. Big A and I were marveling at how we'd never deign to eat Little Caesar's pizza in our everyday lives, but when we're at the game, that pizza is like a siren call!

I did not know you were a basketball fan!

Glad you didn't spend the whole game rooting for the wrong team! Sounds like you had fun : )

How fun! Being at an NBA game is always an experience. There's always way more going on than just the basketball.

Glad you got to see a win (and that the pizza was satisfying).

The food at stadiums is somehow special! You have to enjoy it while you can.

The food on airplanes is horrible. But when they’re coming down the aisle with it, I’M ALL IN. I’m thinking that’s kind of how it is with Little Caesar's at a game. I’m glad your team won.

We live in walking distance of a Little Caesar's and for some reason, when North was little, they always thought it was a treat to walk there and bring it home. Sometimes that kind of cheap pizza is what you want (apparently for you at athletic events).

There's a Little Caesar's about two blocks from my house. It's only good in an emergency! I haven't been to a Piston's game since the 1980s and we were pretty close to the last row in the arena. (The old Silverdome). It was weird -- they would dribble but with the sound delay from distance it was like watching a movie slightly out of synch!

I've never been to a professional basketball game! Phil wanted to try to take Paul as a Christmas present but the day-time games were stupid expensive. I'd like to see the women play more than the men!

Oh, those Detroit Bad Boys! They got us in OT last night by 3.

HAHHHHAAA, Nicole. I would have thought my cluelessness was OBVIOUS!!

I had a good interpreter, Jenny. There's so much to see besides the basketball.

That's such a narrow margin! What a nail-biter!

I mean, the stadium is named for it... it's an unspoken rule!

J, I laughed at this! So true! I can't wait to dig in. And I'm SO bereft if I sleep through a meal service somehow.

More like A's team, but thank you!

Aw, Steph--I loved this North story. I forget which kid it was, but one of mine was enamored of Domino's (which we were avoiding because of their anti abortion stuff).

What a cool memory, Jeanie. There's a Little Caesar's close to us too. I think it's a staple in organizing places because it can feed a crowd.

We go to some MSU women's games, and it's so lovely to see how much the audience for women's games has grown in the last 10-15 years! I hope you go soon!

easy like Sunday mornings

Life was easy today. Being honest so I don't get more undue credit. We stocked up on food for the week, and then... headed for the beach...
