My brain is fried, my heart is sore.
Friday's meetings got shifted online due to the weather, so I absolutely did not have driving to the E.R. at 2 am in -20 degree weather with my car barely 50% charged in my plans. I made it with 8 miles left on the battery. But I found a charger in town and recharged.
I got a heart recharge too with bestie KB too. She spent two days here and I heard about her adventures marching with her fellow Minneapolitans, we talked our hearts out, and I have plans to see her again later this week, so it's not goodbye yet.
Pic: Timeline cleanse. Huck, Max, and K. It was Max's first time meeting K, and he was all over her.

Goodness, I hope Nu is okay.
A trip to the ER in the middle of the night is always scary. Glad NU is okay!!! And glad you had time with your bestie to recharge.
Take care.
Any trip to the ER with your child is just plain scary. I'm glad Nu is okay now.
Time with a good friend is especially lightening. I'm glad you have plans for more of that. We all need respite right now. Hard times. XO
I'm glad Nu is ok, but that is stressful! Yikes! But I am glad you had some uplifting time with your Minneapolis friend. And that is great that you'll see her again this week!
Oh Maya, what a frightening and draining experience. I hope Nu continues to do okay. How fortunate to have some time with a friend when your battery is so low. xxoo
Hopefully the ER here and not driving north. No on goes to the ER for fun so I'm sure you were terribly concerned. I'm glad he's OK. Also glad KB has been here. A visit with a friend is a tonic to the soul.
Ugh, a middle of the night trip to the ER, with a child, with a low battery - what a concatenation of terrors. I'm glad you got a friend recharge.
They're ok, Thanks, Steph.
I was looking forward to this weekend so much... glad to salvage some of it!
Thanks!
Truer words... XOXO
Ah... but now she's gone :/
Thanks, Suzanne. Hoping to pull out of this tailspin... gah.
Jeanie... Nope, E.R. one hour north of us. Praying all the way. All better now though. XOXO
Thank you! The Allison-Julie meet that week was a bright spot!
