A Diamond Birthday in D.C.

My M.I.L. was so excited when I sent her the link to the NYT article on the Minè Okubo exhibition in the Smithsonian, I knew we had to take her see it. 

It's her 75th birthday this year, so it worked out nicely, both her kids, grandkids (my human kids), and I are headed there the weekend before the exhibition closes. 

I have D.C. friends like SD, whom I met nearly 30 years ago in Jerusalem, I'll want to see while there. And I'd LOVE to see blog friends StephLove and "Subway"Steph, if they have the time+inclination.
