The first stanza--I can identify!
The third and fourth stanzas are so relatable in other areas than grief/death. Other people can find themselves in them due to family rifts, estrangements, abuse, etc. It's so empathetic.
I have but one note: the word "sections" is a bit flat here. Maybe rework the line? "I am shocked each sunrise" or "I am shocked each moment"...something closer to the time metaphor.
I like the title. Am I wrong or did you post more pictures of sunsets and the night sky this fall? Because you had endings on your mind, I guess.
