Big A and I spent over five hours on the Pinckney trails hiking and trudging though the snow trying to finish our 16-mile loop before sunset/the end of daylight. Also, I thought it was the full moon tonight and had just seen a trailer for a werewolf movie, so trust me when I say there was speed in my step. (The internet tells me that the full moon is actually tomorrow and it's called the wolf moon!)
It was an exciting, exhausting day. I tired myself out. I laid some fears and sorrows and anxieties to rest (for now). Tomorrow I plan to show up for the people who are counting on me.

What a fun day! This is a perfect new year pic.
16 miles in the snow! That's a big hike! Sounds beautiful.
16 miles out in the cold!? To me, that would be a punishment.
I've discovered that I can walk safely in my new winter boots, so I've resumed my walks. But not 16 miles! The moon was gorgeous last night; I hope we can see it tonight in all its fullness.
Cute
Wow. 16 miles. That's a long hike.
The lore says werewolves are active the day before, the day of, and the day after a full moon. You were right to be worried.
Sixteen miles -- whew! I'm glad it helped tire your body and hopefully your mind.
I recite that Frost poem to myself when I can't sleep. It's such a good reminder that there's never an end to the work (or the heartache, or the worry), but there is always time to appreciate the beauty around me.
WOLF MOON tonight!!!! I am here for it!
Felt like I needed it...
Might have been my longest yet... training for the Grand Canyon in Oct...
I sulked for 30 mins when the snow was falling right in my face, but it was quite nice for the most part. We had overcast skies yesterday and didn't get to see the moon... boo!
It was our longest, Steph. We're kind of training for October...
Now you tell me, Engie!
How intuitive this comment is... Thank you, Suz <3
