To Kill a Mockingjay
In 2010, ten-year-old At (Li'l A) told me I should read
The Hunger Games
because it was postcolonial and feminist and I would like it.
I'm glad I did.

The story's visceral feeling of rage and distrust is a perfect counterpart to a revolutionary spring.
Still prefer the books, but the
movie
sounds okay and comes out today.
