unpredictable

For a few hours today, things seemed to be okay and I did normal things.

Then Amma got sent back to the ICU.

And... Big A who seemed to be recovering nicely from last week's bicycle crash developed a high fever, tested negative for flu and Covid, and had to make a trip to the E.R. for possible sepsis.

I guess the silver lining is that I fall asleep the minute I lie down because I can't wait to escape this plane.

Oh, that sounds so stressful. Hoping for good news on both fronts.

Gah you just cannot catch a break! I hope they figure out what is plaguing Big A and that your mom moves out of the ICU.

Oh Maya -- The worry is excruciating. I hope Big A gets things settled quickly, and so deeply concerned about your mom. Just thinking of those smiles a few days ago in those photos. There's a big lump in my throat for your family. Hang tight.

MAYA. I pretty much missed a week of blogging so didn't know all this was going on until today. I'm sending all the prayers and positive thoughts for you and your family. I'll be thinking of you all day and waiting for an update tomorrow. What else can I say- this is an almost unbearably hard situation. <3
